About Backdrops in the Boot
Our Story
Backdrops in the Boot located in Baton Rouge, La. is a female-owned company founded by owner Ellen Reed and inspired by the arrival of her “boot baby,” Emery, the namesake of the popular Emery floral wall rental.
Reed, who has a background in legal marketing and events, launched the company during her pregnancy while also working a 9-to-5 job. She created Backdrops in the Boot with clients in mind, aiming to combine creativity, professionalism and a personal touch to provide high-quality backdrops for events of all sizes.
The company focuses on helping clients create memorable moments with décor designed to make any celebration stand out.
